Dr. Andreas König

Dr. Andreas König has been working for international pharmaceutical companies based in Germany, the Netherlands and the US for over 25 years. He has held a variety of HR and leadership positions for organizations on every continent, and has extensive expertise with a primary focus on the production and quality management of medicines.

Throughout his professional life, Dr. König has gained experience with a wide range of galenic forms of administration in both human and veterinary pharmaceutical production. For non-sterile medicines, these include solids, oral solutions, soft gelatine capsules and semi-solid preparations. In the field of sterile drugs, Dr. König focused closely on parenteral solutions and powders, radioactive medications and lyophilized products. He was furthermore intensively involved in the production of vaccines from the very beginning of his professional career, and later particularly in the area of animal health.

He founded Quality König GmbH in 2010 to contribute his specialist knowledge and experience to a wide variety of his customers' optimization projects.

Dr. Andreas König has also been an acclaimed speaker at international GMP conferences for over 20 years, with a passion for lectures on modern and efficient quality systems.
